the men go fishing…01.26.09

It’s a guy thing… Greg (the groom) took the guys out for a private fishing trip before the wedding, very awesome!  (there is a great story and slideshow to check out here.)  I saved the picture of the fish we caught until the end of the slideshow way down at the bottom… you have to check it out!  We started out on the beach checking out what kind of fish we were hunting for… BIG!  Then it was out to sea with cerveza and cigars.  I just met some of the party members that day but fit in fast.  We got to talking movies and when Greg asked my favorite I immediately go with The Big Lebowski (Classic!)… the crowd went wild and we quoted movies for the rest of the trip:)

Then… after a long quiet null in fishing action, Tim went to the bathroom down below.  One second later that 80 pound line started to scream away from the boat… we had something!  Now… everyone knows that Tim is the strongest and most capable out of everyone to handle this task.  He heard us screaming, finished his business and came out running.  He took the captains chair and started to reel the monster in.  It was a big one!  After 15 minutes of hard and painful work for Tim… Dinner was served.  He had blisters on his hands and his muscles were very sore.  Check out his trophy at the end of the slideshow!  Thanks Greg, that was awesome!!!!
