The Best Camera Ever!04.26.11

I think it was Chase Jarvis that said “the best camera is the one in your hands”… I couldn’t agree more:)  Right now for me, the best camera is one that is small, easy to use, always on me and most importantly, one where the images are shared and organized immediately for easy future use.  Currently, that is my iphone:)  When others ask me what is the best camera to buy, I usually reply with the iphone.  I find myself using it on a daily basis, especially when travelling.  There was one day in Mexico where I lugged my canon around for the entire day and never used it once… but I took over 100 photos using my iphone.

For the iphone, or any smart phone… it’s all about the camera apps.  I have 8 to 10 on my phone that I use on a regular basis… all sorts for all sports:)  Currently my favorite is the very popular (and free) Instagram app.  I love the square photo look, it has countless options for picture styles, has a tilt n’ shift function and shares easily with your mac, facebook and twitter.  The smart thing about instagram is that it is a social network in itself… you can follow your fav’s and keep updated with what they are capturing.  If you want to follow me, look up “moorephotography” within your app.

Check out some pics below of the last Mexico adventure… we had so much fun with it that everyone else with iphones joined in for the rest of the week.  In this case, it provides even more amazing keepsakes for my clients and will make a sweet album:):)  Thanks and get shooting everyone!
