Here is another great example of a more modern wedding day schedule. The bride and groom see each other in what I call a “first look” and the bridal photos are taken before the ceremony. It was important to Allison and Darren that they had tons of time for photos with me. Enough to shoot in their country setting and then head into the city for a more urban look. Then back to the country for a wonderful ceremony and reception.
If you are considering this format over the traditional wedding day schedule, I highly recommend it. It is easier on your bodies and can be more convenient for your guests. No five hour break in the afternoon for them to worry about. Sceptics may think the ceremony will be less emotional, but I can state from my experience that it is the opposite. Allison & Darren hired me for an engagement session, full day wedding coverage, full reception coverage and photo booth. After the wedding they received a beautiful custom made leather album.
“ Curtis, you are a truly gifted photographer. Thank you for capturing the moments throughout the day that were important to us and for allowing us to enjoy every minute of it! ”
