Wedding Photography Stuff

What’s your style?
We are creative, kick ass, storytelling photographers. Our goal is to document your wedding day as truly and creatively as possible. We want to capture moments as they happen allowing us to get some breathtaking, organic, emotional images of you two, your guests and the experiences you have throughout the day. However, at appropriate times, we will offer direction by posing you in ways that do not feel unnatural. This will mostly happen during family photos, group shots and your creative portraits (the two of you). We’re always thinking of new and different ways to make your photos as unique as possible and aren’t opposed to getting ourselves into weird and unusual situations just to nab that one amazing shot so we can deliver the most incredible artistic portraits to you.
What does your coverage include?
Your primary Moore photographer and an associate all day from getting ready right through to the party at the end of the night. We want to be able to hand you a complete document of your story.
How do we hire you?
Just contact us and we’ll arrange an opportunity to meet and get to know one another, and to ensure that we’re a perfect match. Alternatively, if you are a little further away, we can arrange a phone call or Skype call and create packages for weddings across the border or around the world. Everything can be done online.
How many images will we receive?
We strive to deliver quality over quantity. We would rather give you a smaller collection of photos that will blow you away rather than a large amount of “pretty good” or “okay” images. On average, our wedding couples will receive 500-1000 images. Don’t worry, your story will be captured and delivered completely and beautifully!
When will we receive our images?
You will receive a few “sneak peeks” about a week after your wedding. From there, it takes us approximately 60 days to edit and master your images, prepare your online gallery, make your slideshow and design your album (which will arrive 6-8 weeks after final design approval, along with your USB drive).
Can you hold our date for us?
I can not guarantee your wedding date until the booking retainer has been payed and the contract is signed. If you are the first to contact me for a date, you will have 48 hours preference to book if another couple expresses interest to book that same date.
If our wedding is cancelled, can we have our retainer back?
Unfortunately no. The retainer and all monies paid are non-refundable. Once you have paid your retainer and signed your contract, I will turn down all other bookings for that date.
What if you are very sick, injured or die before my wedding date?
Ouch… what a dismal thought. I probably will not make the wedding if I am dead. An experienced professional photographer will replace me and photograph your wedding if any severe terrible accident or sickness occurs and I am unable to attend.
For out of town weddings, how do we arrange your travel?
We will book our own airfare, hotel and transportation, so you don’t have to worry or stress about it.
Will you travel for engagement sessions as well?
We are happy to come to your town/city or meet you at a destination of your choice. Please contact us for more information.
Do you photograph details and family group photos?
Yes! Your photography collection would not be complete without wedding details and family photos. We take all the photographs anyone would expect from a wedding photographer but our goal is also to push past those expectations and give you photographs that are extraordinary and go beyond what you could imagine.
Can our friends and family take photos at the wedding? Will that distract you?
Of course. Let them take photos… mine will be much better. I am ready and experienced in dealing with any distractions that could occur during an important moment or time of your day. Although… feel free to tell Uncle Bob to put his camera down and enjoy the wedding.
My fiancé is uncomfortable having his/her picture taken. How can you help them on the wedding day?
We are calm, focused and confident people and are good at blending in and becoming one with your group. Combined with our documentary style approach, you will be comfortable with us being around in a very short amount of time. The only time you will be more aware of our presence and the cameras is during family and group photos and while doing your creative portraits during which you will be guided through. So you can just be yourselves and we will handle everything else.
What do you do if we have an outdoor venue and it rains on our wedding day?
Most venues offer a backup plan for rain or other extreme conditions. We can easily work with any situation and the spontaneity can create some amazing images. Our aim is to capture you with lots of emotion and as long as you are happy and in love, it will come through in your photos regardless of the setting.
Should I give you a shot list?
We do not require a shot list because we are very thorough in capturing every element of your special day. However, you will be asked to provide a list of exact family members for your family pictures though a questionnaire you will fill out before the wedding.
Do you offer a photo booth service?
Yes! This is an optional service that you can add to your reception coverage. Another photographer will come and manage it. You bring your desired props and we set up a portable studio and capture all the shenanigans!
