May the 4th be with you!  Yes… Emily & Steven got married at Fort Gibraltar on Star Wars day.  This was a dream come true for me, and a perfect day for all of us geeks involved!  Emily & Steven booked me years ago… if you want to see the clincher in their decision making, just go to my contact form here on my website, it has always been Star Wars related, LOL!

These two, and all of their friends and family are pure amazing.  A pleasure to know and to have as friends now, and such a freaking pleasure to work with.  Ooo… and thanks to Geek Chic Decor for giving me a Jedi outfit to wear all day AND… to my talented girlfriend Julie Fulsher for taking wicked photos with me and rocking princess Leah buns all day.

Anywhoo… back to Emily and Steven.   We started the day getting ready at the Inn at the Forks preparing for the first look.  We played with Steven a bit by inserting one of his groomsmen as a storm trooper and then let him see his stunning wife to be.  We rocked out at the Forks for a bit and then headed to Fort Gibraltar for a full-on Star Wars themed wedding ceremony.  Again, thanks so much to Geek Chic Decor for supplying professional lightsabers, cosplayers in full gear, and even a real BB8 who surprised the guests during the ceremony by delivering the rings on cue.  Check the photos out… so many beautiful moments but also hilarious to see such emotion with Darth Vader lurking in the background, LOL!  The force is very strong with these two.

Then we ran away for a private ceremony where Emily & Steven read their own vows in front of their wedding party, and then had flat-out fun for the rest of the night.  Thanks also to Bryanne Krahn from Simply You Events for planning and running a great day!
