Fort Garry Hotel wedding with Carolyn & Jaden

Fort Garry Hotel wedding days always feel a bit classic, and Carolyn & Jaden’s was such a good way to kick off summer. Early June, super hot, bright sun, and two people who are just genuinely adorable together. Julie came along to shoot photos with me and my daughter Bethany was on video, which made the day feel like a little family affair on my end too.

Carolyn got ready at the Fort Garry, then headed over to All Saints Church where Jaden was waiting for their ceremony. After that, we bounced around the Legislative Building for photos, then slipped into Langside Grocery for a bite—such an adorable little spot and it fit them perfectly. The evening brought us back to the Fort Garry Hotel for dinner, toasts, and dancing.

One of my favourite moments of the whole day was when Carolyn surprised Jaden after her speech by jumping in with the band and singing. She absolutely brought down the house and set the tone for their first dance. Makeup was by Edward Carrier, flowers from Little Flower Shop, cake by Sugar Blooms, DJ from Topps, and her dress was from Chantel’s. It all came together into one really good, really them kind of day.
