Emily, Steven, and their entire crew of friends and family were an absolute joy. It’s weddings like these that make me love my job so much. Huge shout-out to Geek Chic Decor for providing me with a Jedi outfit (yes, dreams do come true), and extra love to my talented partner Julie Fulsher for photographing alongside me in her Princess Leia buns—so perfect!
We kicked things off at Inn at the Forks with prep and a hilarious first look prank, swapping out Steven’s bride-to-be with a stormtrooper. After capturing Steven’s reaction to his real bride, we enjoyed some fun portraits at the Forks before heading to Fort Gibraltar. The ceremony was fully Star Wars-themed, complete with professional lightsabers, authentic cosplayers, and even a real BB-8 delivering the rings right on cue!
The images are priceless—beautiful, emotional moments with Darth Vader ominously lurking in the background. After the main ceremony, Emily & Steven shared private vows surrounded by their wedding party, before celebrating with pure fun into the night.
