Sargent Sundae engagement with Kelly & Kurt

Sargent Sundae engagement sessions are an automatic yes in my books, and doing one with Kelly & Kurt made it even better. We started where their very first date began—lined up at Sargent Sundae with everyone else in Winnipeg, waiting for ice cream that is always, always worth the wait. They grabbed their cones, laughed their way through the usual drips and melty chaos, and it instantly felt like I was watching that first date all over again, just with a few extra years of comfort layered on top.

From there, we wandered across the bridge into Assiniboine Park, retracing the same path they took that first night. It was easy with them—no overthinking, just walking, talking, and stopping whenever something felt right. They were fun, relaxed, and so easy to work with, and it honestly felt like hanging out with friends who happened to let me bring my camera along. I’m so pumped for their August wedding at Pineridge Hollow this year; this Sargent Sundae engagement night was the perfect preview of what’s to come.
