La Lune wedding for Jennifer & Chris
La Lune wedding days are always a favourite for me, and Jennifer & Chris’s is one that really sticks. It was a hot prairie summer day, the kind where the light hangs around forever and everything outside feels like a little party. They already have their kids mostly grown up, and there’s something seriously special about watching kids see their parents get married—half “this is cool” and half “wow, this is our family.”
Their adorable golden retriever was there too, obviously, sneaking into photos and soaking up attention. The whole day felt relaxed and easy, like everyone had been waiting for this moment for a long time and was just happy it was finally happening. One of the sweetest parts was Jen’s first look with her dad—simple, emotional, and it brought tears all around, including behind the camera.
We wrapped up the night with dancing during sunset, sparklers in hands, everyone circling around them. It was messy, bright, loud in the best way, and completely them—kids, dog, friends, family, all piled into one perfect La Lune wedding evening.
