Summer engagement sessions like this one with Jasleen & Manraj are exactly the kind of days I love.

Summer engagement shoots feel extra fun when we get to move around the city a bit. With these two, we had three different looks and bounced all over Winnipeg. We started at the Legislative Building, taking advantage of the big steps and clean lines, then headed into a studio in the Exchange for something a bit more simple and focused just on them. We wrapped things up at St. Boniface Cathedral next to The Forks, which always has that mix of old stone and river that works so well for photos.

It was also really good working with Dave from Behira Studios on this one. He was on video while I handled photos, and it just felt like a relaxed day hanging out and making something cool together for them. Manraj is working in Vancouver and Jasleen is here in Winnipeg, and you can tell they’re really excited to bring everyone together for their 5-day Indian wedding this August. This session felt like the start of a really big, really good week that’s coming up for them.
