Yesterday, under the serene spring skies at St. Norbert Arts Center, nestled beside the historic ruins of the Trappist Monastery, I had the immense pleasure of capturing a truly special day for an extraordinary couple, Beth and JT. Their intimate wedding, attended by just 25 close friends and family, was nothing short of magical.
What made this day even more remarkable was the deep connection I share with the bride. Beth, along with her sister Courtney—whose wedding I also had the honor of photographing back in 2018—were among the first few clients I ever photographed when I started my journey in Winnipeg’s photography scene in 2008. They were teenagers then, full of dreams and promises for the future, and to see those dreams manifest into such beautiful moments has been an incredible journey to witness.
The St. Norbert Arts Center, with the same dedicated staff who manage the renowned Fort Gibraltar event center, did an outstanding job setting the scene. Every detail was meticulously coordinated, creating a perfect backdrop that complemented the day’s warmth and joy.
