My last wedding of 2018 was a truly magical winter wedding at Fort Garry Hotel with Nico & Jered! If you’re wondering how to embrace a Manitoba winter wedding, these two nailed it—stunning details, a historic venue, and a whole lot of love.
Before I talk about the day, let’s get right to that dress! Nico’s gown was one-of-a-kind in Manitoba, designed by Randy Fenoli (yes, from Say Yes to the Dress). She found it at 7th Avenue Fashions, and it was a total showstopper. But what I love even more than a gorgeous dress is capturing a bride who’s glowing and having the time of her life in it.
We started the day at the Fort Garry Hotel, an absolute classic when it comes to Winnipeg wedding venues. After their emotional first look, we braved the winter cold and made our way to the Manitoba Legislative Building for some epic portraits. The grand architecture and soft snowfall made for the perfect winter wedding backdrop.
From start to finish, this day was an incredible party—filled with love, laughter, and plenty of warm moments to make up for the chilly temperatures outside. Nico & Jered, you two are amazing, and it was such an honour to capture your wedding day.
