Ashley & Chris’s Winter wedding at The Leaf was an absolute dream! With February temperatures outside, The Leaf’s lush biodome provided the perfect warm escape for breathtaking photos. The other side of the venue set the stage for a gorgeous, intimate ceremony surrounded by greenery—making it feel like a tropical getaway right in Winnipeg.
For their reception, they opted for Gather Restaurant, an ideal setting for a smaller wedding. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, and let’s talk about the food—simply incredible! Every course was an experience, leaving guests raving.
A huge thank you to Melanie Parent Events for planning such a seamless and beautiful day. The florals by Beyond Flowers were an elegant touch, perfectly complementing the venue’s natural beauty. And, of course, the delicious wedding cake by Jenny Rae Cakes and treats from Sweet Impressions Bakery added the perfect sweet finish to the celebration.
One of the most touching parts of the day? Ashley’s brother officiated the wedding, making their ceremony even more personal and heartfelt. And the excitement doesn’t stop here—I can’t wait for Ashley’s twin sister’s wedding this spring!
