Serena & Sunny’s 4-day Hindu festive wedding at the Leaf was an absolute blast! It all kicked off with a small gathering for mehndi & henna application by the talented Henna Art by Fatima. To get into the groove, we had a fun engagement session through the stunning new Leaf Garden Building in Assiniboine Park. The excitement continued with a super fun Sangeet party at the Journey to Churchill exhibit at the zoo, surrounded by playful seals and majestic polar bears. The food and music were simply incredible.
Then came the big day, the ceremony and reception held at the Leaf in Assiniboine Park. It started with a heartwarming first look, followed by an unforgettable barat march where the families came together in celebration. The traditional Hindu ceremony was a sight to behold. Once the formalities were done, it was time to let loose on the dance floor. The music was pumping, and the dance moves were wild.
Emma Singh Creative flawlessly planned the entire wedding, ensuring every detail was on point. AK Productions lit up the venue and kept the energy high with their music. East India Company tantalized everyone’s taste buds with their delectable cuisine. Dream Day Decor, Creating a Scene, and Collective Rentals transformed the space into a stunning visual experience.
And let’s not forget the amazing on-site vendors like Chaeban Ice Cream and Knapsack Coffee, providing delicious treats and energizing beverages to keep the party going.
Serena & Sunny’s wedding was a whirlwind of love, joy, and incredible moments. It was an honor to capture their special day, filled with laughter, tradition, and unforgettable memories. Cheers to this amazing couple and the start of their beautiful journey together!
Special extra thanks to Julie from Julie Fulsher Photography for capturing all the other beautiful moments! Check out this winter wedding with Ashley & Chris at the leaf!
